Because nothing says “I’m Irish” like a Cabrera jersey. I’ve never understood why people make special St Patricks day jerseys anyway. Of course, if I had to pick one player who most likely celebrates a holiday dedicated to binge drinking, it would definitely have to be Miguel Cabrera. So I guess it’s only a half foul here.

Welcome to JerseyFoul. We’ll get into explaining what a Jersey Foul is in a few posts, but for now I can’t think of a better jersey foul to start the site off with than this on:

Usually it’s the fans who commit jersey fouls, not the entire team, but thanks to a mixup the Washington Nationals sported these mispelled beauties during the 2010 season. ┬áMy question though is did anybody actually notice? I mean, why on earth would they wear the mispelled ones when they have to have had an old set lying around somewhere else.

I’ve heard of negro league day and spanish day, but it looks like Washington is also having illiterate day.
